Frank Hirth is delighted to announce that it has appointed Michael Lewis as an Associate Director within its London Private Client team.
Michael is a US and UK dual qualified tax advisor and joins from Deloitte, where he spent 19 years advising individuals and companies on US and UK cross-border tax matters. Up until his move Michael was a key member of the Deloitte US HNW leadership team helping transform a predominately internal function into a true outward looking private client team.
He has a particular specialism in looking after fund executives, helping clients to navigate the increasingly complex rules applying in the field of private equity. More recently he has developed some extensive experience working with clients from the Middle East helping wealthy families become compliant with their US tax obligations.
“Frank Hirth’s private client advisory team in London has enormous growth opportunities,” said Robyn Limmer, Frank Hirth’s head of tax and newly announced Managing Director. “FATCA has encouraged clients to look again at their US tax obligations helping expand the market. Michael will not only bolster our, already highly regarded, technical capabilities but also facilitate our business development both in the UK and overseas. I am extremely pleased to welcome Michael on board.”
